In all honesty AugustD's work is a little less to my taste than general BTS content or the more pop-leaning music of Jimin & Jungkook (same is true for me of RM & Jhope's harder rap songs). But a lot of it has grown on me over time like Daechwita. I decided to wake up early Friday morning and watch the first concert over TikTok. I enjoyed it and the guitar with the signatures of his bandmates is fabulous. But I was really hooked once JK showed up! Anticipating another surprise guest I tuned in this morning and wasn't disappointed. I agree w/ you about Tony Montana...I'm not sure what the general hype is except that it is so rare. (And yes I loved Jimin's rap in Sowoozoo Chicken Noodle Soup too.) The OT7 footage definitely hit me in the feels. (Hey Yoongi isn't this the right time to share that you got the 7 tattoo to show your solidarity with your brothers?) I commented on a few posts this morning that Suga is mentoring the younger members, walking right off the stage with complete trust and letting them experience holding the stage by themselves. (Of course they've all done this during LY but maybe they needed post-Covid reminders).
Jimin is my bias and he looked fine AF with that double denim and 70s teen heartthrob hairstyle! I was swooning!!
So now I have to ruin my sleep tomorrow morning and get up even earlier to see what happens. I suppose I could wait until the replays the following weekend but I have FOMO!
Seems like military enlistment is looming close for RM, Suga, and Jimin, and in my thoughts...sooner in, sooner out, get it over with guys.
I am a hip hop person, so the rap line have been my flow. Have gotten more into the pop stuff. (Big Butter fan here :)) Wishing you strong coffee for tomorrow am.
